Pricing and Tagging
As a general rule, price your items between 20% to 50% of what you originally paid. Bigger items tend to get a higher rate. Make sure that you are not doing any 'emotional' pricing, no one will pay more for something that has sentimental value to you. Sets of outfits sell better than single items. Below is a price guide.

I separated clothing into three categories, L1 are clothes from Target, JCPenny's, Walmart, etc, L2 are clothes from Gymboree, Gap, Children's Place, Limited Too and L3 are boutique name brands such as Baby Lulu, Laura Ashley, Strasburg, etc.

For items such as furniture, bedding, and kitchen/bath items there are two levels. The first level are generic brand names and the second level are recognizable brand names.

• Please use 3X5 index cards to tag your items. Place the card in a vertical position, and put the gender/size in the upper right corner.
  
  
  
  
• The center of the card is the description area for each item. Include enough information to identify the item should the tag become separated from the item.
  
  
• Your consignor number MUST go in the lower left corner. IE. tm4354 (initials and phone number)
  
  
• The price goes in the lower right corner.
  
  
• If you do NOT want an item to be sold for 50% off on Discount Day (No Discount), write ND next to the price.
  
  
• To indicate that this item IS TO BE DONATED if not sold, place an X in the upper left-hand corner of the card
  
  
• NO ITEM SHOULD HAVE MORE THAN ONE CARD ATTACHED TO IT.
